Chris Thomson, ‘15 DVM, started a new position as a Surgeon, Surgical Oncology and Minimally-Invasive Surgery at Veterinary Specialty Hospital. He is passionate about surgical oncology, hepatobiliary disease, and endourology. Previously he worked as a Small Animal Veterinary intern at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at the Small Animal Surgery Resident at the University of Minnesota.

 Aubrey Tauer, ‘08 DVM, started a new position as CEO of Azul Scientific & Medical Consulting. She is a board certified specialist (Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine) in population medicine and public health. One of her biggest projects to date was creating an e-course for the Lincoln Park Zoo's Zoo Animal Health Network to train zoo employees in disaster preparedness and avian influenza.

Rachel Friese, ‘18, moved back to MN to work at Anderson Veterinary Clinic in Zumbrota, MN

Channing Bancroft, ‘19 DVM, started a new position at Blue Pearl Emergency Veterinary Hospital as a Relief Veterinarian. He is doing work for local cilins in the Twin Cities area.

Andrew Brothers, ‘20 DVM, started a new position as Associate Veterinarian at Blue River PetCare in the Twin Cities.

Andres Diaz, '15 PhD, was recently promoted to technical operations manager at Pig Improvement Company .

Brianna Gohman, ’19 DVM, started a new position as associate veterinarian at Equine Medical Center of Ocala in Ocala, Fla., in June 2020. 

Katie Cornille, ’20 DVM, started a new position as supervisory public health veterinarian as USDA-FSIS in St. Cloud, Minn., in June 2020. 

Meagan Abraham, ’18 DVM, started a new position as veterinarian at Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic in Lafayette, Ind., in March 2020.
