Christina Larson, '20 DVM, PhD, accepted a tenure-track assistant professor position at SDSU in their Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences department.
Sean Wang, ‘16, is quoted in a story about MN Dept. of Health tracking sources of COVID infections through use of genetic sequencing of the virus. He said, “It provides the ultimate viral mutation surveillance and it can provide clearer answers to understand outbreaks.” They are working to look backward to where the outbreaks in Minnesota began.
Bob Murtaugh, ‘80 DVM, started a new position as Chief Professional Relations Officer at Pathway Vet Alliance. Previously he was the Chief Veterinary officer focusing on providing medical oversight and operational leadership to a growing multi-site, multi-state veterinary hospital company.
Erika Butler, ‘06 DVM, started a new position as a veterinarian at Grand Rapids Veterinary Clinic. While studying at the University of Minnesota she used her education to better understand veterinary education on wildlife, population health and disease detection.
Mikayla Dolan, ‘20 DVM, started a new position as a rotating intern with Animal Emergency and Referral Center of MN. Previously she worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Banfield Pet Hospital and Pet Dermatology clinic in Maple Grove, Minnesota. After graduation from the U of M she became an Animal Care Technician at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
