Sara Lonski, ’13 DVM, recently started a new position as a small animal surgeon at Mission Animal Hospital in Eagan, Minn. 

Meggan Bandrick '12 DVM, PhD, was promoted to director of swine global biologics at Zoetis Veterinary Medicine Research and Development. 

Alison Iha, ’21 DVM, started as a veterinarian at Willow Brook Animal Hospital in De Soto, Texas, in September 2021.

Lindsay Bush, ‘16 DVM, started as an assistant professor of primary care in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in November 2021.

Sara Seeba, ’21 DVM, started a position as an associate veterinarian in July 2021 at Chatham Animal Hospital in Chatham, Va.

Mari LaMoore, ’17 DVM, MPH, wrote a children's book about dealing with loss as a child that was published in September 2021. The book is called “Where Did My Grandma Go?” and is illustrated by Tim Williams.

Mark Peterson, DVM ’76, DACVIM, has received one of the American Veterinary Medical Association’s (AVMA) highest honors. Peterson was named the recipient of the 2021 AVMA Lifetime Excellence in Research Award. The award recognizes a veterinary researcher on the basis of lifetime achievement in basic, applied, or clinical research. Recipients are selected based on the total impact their career has had on the veterinary or biomedical professions.
