First female CVM students broke down barriers and paved way for generations of veterinary leaders

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has hired Elizabeth Martinez-Podolsky to serve as its first director of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). She will join the college on May 24.

VETgirl, an online veterinary continuing education webinar service for veterinary professionals, has given a gift to establish the VETgirl Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Scholarship at CVM.

The CVM celebrates the trailblazers and advocates that made a way forward for women in the field of veterinary medicine.
