Patterson to lead University Faculty Consultative Committee

    Ned Patterson, DVM, PhD

Ned Patterson, DVM, PhD, is serving as the University of Minnesota Faculty Consultative Committee (FCC) vice chair, followed by serving as chair starting in 2021 and continuing on the committee as past chair July 2022 for a year (three years total service).

“Especially in these very difficult, and trying times, I am very much looking forward to the opportunity to contribute all I can to help our university get through this and go into the future as best we all can,” he says.

The whole FCC, which is composed of 15 faculty members, has regular meetings with key administrators including President Gabel. The chair and vice chair of FCC have 2-on-2 monthly meetings with President Gable and the University’s Provost, and 2:2:2 quarterly meetings with them and the chair and vice chair of the Regents.
