Kalli Doenges, ’18 DVM, started in January 2022 as an emergency veterinarian at Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Critical Care in Florida.
Melanie Jackson, ’15 DVM, founded North Star Mobile Veterinary Care, PLLC in April 2022. The clinic will serve equine and small ruminant communities on a part-time basis in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and surrounding areas.
Alexandra Armstrong, ’15 DVM, ’22 PhD, successfully defended her PhD thesis and has accepted a position at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine as an assistant professor of pathology in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences Department.
Sonja Helgeson, ’20 DVM, started in March 2022 as a veterinarian with TLC Veterinary Hospital in Oakdale, Minn.
Raye Taylor, ’11 DVM, was appointed in June 2022 to the Minnesota State Board of Veterinary Medicine by Gov. Tim Walz and Lt. Gov. Peggy Flannigan.
Andrea Birkland, ’17 DVM, started in June 2022 as principal veterinarian at WellHaven Pet Health in New Brighton, Minn.
Fred Mansfield, ’22 DVM, started in June 2022 as a veterinarian at Windy Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Pipestone, Minn.
Gary A. Conboy, ’80 DVM, ’90 PhD, has been selected as the 2021 recipient of the Atlantic Award of Excellence in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Care from Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island.
Linda Glaser, ’85 DVM, was selected in April 2022 to serve as interim executive director of the Minnesota Board of Animal Health.
