  • Christopher Anderson, ’03 DVM, started a new position as medical business development manager at Mission Veterinary Partners in Inver Grove Heights, Minn., in July 2019.

  • Dionne Benson, ’11 DVM, started a new position as chief veterinary officer for the Stronach Group Racing and Gaming in Lexington, Ky., in May 2019.

  • Kevin Gustafson, ’19 DVM, started a new position as an intern in the University of Missouri Comparative Medicine Program at the University of Missouri-Columbia in July 2019.

  • Lauren Stephens-Brown, ‘18 DVM, got married to Tono Abramson this February.

  • Marjorie Schleper, ‘19 DVM, recently started a new position with Christensen Family Farms in June 2019.

  • Nate Bos, ‘19 DVM, started a new position at Herd Health in Caldwell, Idaho in June 2019.


     

  • Briana Neuzil, ‘19 DVM, recently started a new position as an intern veterinarian at WestVet 24/7 Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Garden City, Idaho in June 2019.

  • Brianna Gohman, ‘19 DVM, started a new position as an intern veterinarian as The Equine Medical Center of Ocala in June 2019.

  • Ultrarunner Jasmin Paris was a small animal intern at the CVM’s Veterinary Medical Center in 2010. She recently became the first woman to win the 268-mile Montane Spine Race, a nonstop challenge from Edale in Derbyshire, England, to Kirk Yetholm, Scotland. Paris broke the course record by 12 hours. The race took her 83 hours, 12 minutes, and 23 seconds to complete. 

    Paris gave birth to a daughter 14 months ago. During the four-day race, she had just over seven hours of rest time, during which she had to eat, sleep, and breastfeed her daughter.  

    Paris already holds the women's records for the UK's three premier 24-hour mountain running challenges.
