Peter Poss, ’57 DVM, Willmar, Minn., died on July 31, 2024, at age 90. Poss started his veterinary career in private practice before joining Earl B. Olson Farms in 1965 as a general manager. He later became a Vice President of Jennie-O Foods before retiring in 1990. Poss received many awards for his dedication and expertise in the field of avian veterinary science, including the Siehl Prize for excellence in agriculture. He is survived by his wife, Emilie; five children; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several brothers- and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews and cousins, and many wonderful friends.
