Helen A. Knutt, ’74 DVM, Cando, N.D., died on Sept. 1, 2021, at 83. Following graduation, Knutt set up a veterinary practice in Rocklake, N.D., and founded a satellite office in Langdon, N.D., in 1977. She closed her practice in 2001 and later worked for the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, as a supervisory veterinary medical officer and inspector in charge at the North American Bison Cooperative in New Rockford, N.D., as well as two plants in Mandan before her retirement in 2007. Knutt is survived by two daughters, three granddaughters, one sister, a sister-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
