John Quast, ’66 DVM, ’73 PhD

John Quast, ’66 DVM, ’73 PhD, Midland, Mich., died on March 20, 2022, at 83. He pursued his DVM and a PhD in pathology after serving in the U.S. Navy. He landed a job with the Dow Chemical Company in its toxicology department. Over the course of his 25-year career, Quast led many studies aimed at protecting human health and the environment. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter; his son; and five grandchildren.
