  • John C. Gregg, ’59 DVM, Cherokee, Ia., died January 9, 2018 at 93. 

  • James M. Svobodny, Champlin, Minn., passed away on April 8 at 90. He is survived by his nephew; grandnieces & nephews, Jaime, Kristy, Jesse; great-grandnieces & nephews, Henri, Greta, Inge, Beatrice, and Max.

  • Apryl Kaufman Goffinet, '75 DVM, Geneva, N.Y., passed away in July 2019 at 70. She is survived by her husband, Martin, and two sons, Samuel and Daniel.

  • Howard J Cook, '52 DVM, Dousman, Wis., passed away on June 14, 2018, at 93. After graduating from the CVM, Cook became a partner at the Waukesha Animal Hospital, specializing in the care for horses and cows. He also cared for animals at the Milwaukee County Zoo and developed the Human Animal Welfare Society's first shelter in Waukesha, Wis. Cook is survived by his daughter, Patricia; 5 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; three great-grandsons; and 3 step great-granchildren.

  • Stephen E. Dille, '69 DVM, Dassel, Minne., passed away on March 25 at 75. After graduating from the CVM, Dille served as a veterinarian in South Vietnam with the USAID, assisting Vietnamese farmers to treat and prevent diseases. He was elected and served for six years as a Minnesota State Representative and 18 years as a Minnesota State Senator, co-authoring significant legislation of clean indoor air acts and enforcement seat belts. Dille is survived by his wife; four children; nine grandchildren; four sisters; and two brothers.

  • Larissa Minicucci, '04 MPH, DVM, East Bethel, Minn., passed away on November 16 at 45. After earning a master's of public health, she completed a fellowship with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Epidemic Intelligence Service, in Fort Collins, Colo. In 2006, she joined the veterinary faculty of the CVM as an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Population Medicine. Minicucci is survived by her husband, Lou, and her family.   • Michael E. Richardson, '74 BS, '76 DVM, Stillwater, Minn., passed away on January 24 at 67. After graduating from the CVM, Richardson worked at Roseville Animal Hospital for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Pam; his parents; his brother, Robert; and three stepsons and nieces.

  • Keith Friendshuh, '70 DVM, Annandale, Minn., passed away on February 15 at 74. After graduating from the CVM, Friendshuh practiced veterinary medicine in Annandale, then dedicated his time to the Board of Animal Health for the State of Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Cherry; two children; and four grandchildren.

  • Bradford C. Yoho, '68 DVM, Stillwater, Minn., passed away on March 11 at 84. After graduating from the CVM, he was one of the founding partners of both the Stillwater Equine Veterinary Clinic and the Stillwater Veterinary Clinic. He practiced medicine until he retired to spend winters in Florida with his wife, brother, and sister-in-law, pursuing their mutual classic car hobby. Yoho is survived by his wife, Carole; two children; and four grandchildren.
