At the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV) meeting earlier this month, three College of Veterinary Medicine students received competitively awarded scholarships. A total of 37 students from 12 universities competed for the awards by submitting poster abstracts.

Lindsay Miller, DVM Class of 2023, received a $5,000 AASVF/Merck Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship and a United Animal Health $400 scholarship for her student poster abstract. Miller also received a $250 stipend from Zoetis to attend the AASV conference.

Megan McMahon, Class of 2022, received a $2,500 scholarship from the AASV Foundation. The scholarship was funded by Elanco Animal Health. McMahon also received a $750 stipend from Zoetis to attend the AASV conference.

Seth Melson, Class of 2023, received a $1,500 scholarship from the AASV Foundation. The scholarship was funded by Elanco Animal Health. Melson also received a $750 stipend from Zoetis to attend the AASV conference.
