Twenty new students have begun their studies in the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) graduate programs for academic year 2019–20.

Nine are enrolled in the comparative and molecular biosciences program, and 11 are enrolled in the veterinary medicine program. Thirteen will pursue PhDs, and seven will pursue master’s degrees. They have traveled far and wide to be at the CVM, hailing from Thailand, Malaysia, China, Andorra, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, and around the United States.

On August 19, the CVM’s graduate programs office hosted a new
student orientation to welcome these new members of the CVM community.
