Four College of Veterinary Medicine students with an interest in bovine medicine were awarded scholarships this fall by the American Association of Bovine Practitioners.
The AABP awarded $343,000 through 42 scholarships to veterinary students across the United States and announced the awards at its annual conference held in September.
Fourth-year DVM student Eliza Merges was named a recipient of an Amstutz Scholarship for $11,500, a Merck Animal Health Bovine Veterinary Student Recognition Award for $10,000, and a Zoetis Foundation Scholarship for $7,500.
Third-year DVM student Kaden Eisenbraun received a Merck Animal Health Bovine Veterinary Student Recognition Award.
Fourth-year DVM student Madison Thieman received a Zoetis Foundation Scholarship.
Fourth-year DVM student Ben Dentlinger received an Edwin Robertson Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.
