College interviews 341 aspiring veterinarians

College of Veterinary Medicine faculty and staff conducted 341 admissions interviews of aspiring veterinarians in January and February. The 341 were selected from the total of 811 applications received by the college’s admissions office for the 102 seats in the fall 2017 freshman class. Eight University of Minnesota students were accepted into VetFAST, an early admission program for students interested in food-animal veterinary medicine.
