On March 29, the Provost’s office decided to suspend the search for the CVM’s new dean, given the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the transition of leadership within the Provost’s office.

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual Graduate Programs Recruiting Day took place on February 7. 

The University of Minnesota (U of M) and South Dakota State University (SDSU) have officially announced a new Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine leading to a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Former Dean Trevor Ames, DVM, MS, DACVIM, was named Veterinarian of the Year and Veterinary Population Medicine professor. Tim Goldsmith, DVM, MPH, took home Faculty of the Year honors at the annual meeting of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association. A number of CVM alumni also received recognition.
