Graduate student Anna Jaeger receives IMV Training Program T32 Fellowship

Anna Jaeger, a Comparative and Molecular Biosciences graduate student, was the recipient of the highly competitive fellowship (T32) from the UMN Institute for Molecular Virology Training Program (IMVTP).

The overarching research theme of the IMV training program is virus-host cell interactions, which encompasses mechanisms of viral replication and restriction and molecular pathogenesis. IMVTP Fellows are expected to participate in all IMV activities, including the virology journal club, IMV Research-in-Progress, IMV Innovations in Virus Research Lecture Series, UMN-Mayo Distinguished Lectures in Virology & Gene Therapy, and the annual IMV Symposium.

Jaeger is advised by and works in the laboratory of Matthew Aliota, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences.
