Annual event puts focus on veterinary teaching and learning with speakers from the College and beyond

The College of Veterinary Medicine brought together educators from across its departments, hospitals, and centers to spark innovation and honor their efforts during its annual Education Day event.
The day’s keynote address featured Jason Frank, a medical educator and leading expert in Competency-Based Medical Education, who spoke on leading curriculum changes. CVM is currently in the third and final phase of its DVM curriculum revitalization with a target of rolling out the new curriculum in Fall 2027.
The College’s annual teaching award ceremony also took place during the event, with 15 instructors honored for their outstanding efforts across DVM, graduate, and undergraduate courses. (Read more about the 2025 teaching awards)
