    DVM student Mikayla Schlosser named among Lallemand scholarship recipients

Second-year College of Veterinary Medicine DVM student Mikayla Schlosser has been selected for a scholarship from Lallemand Animal Nutrition.

The Lallemand Animal Nutrition Scholarship Committee awarded five scholarships totaling $14,000 to up-and-coming students and established scholars within agriculture. This is the tenth year the company awarded the scholarships, which reward students for their exceptional achievements and dedication to the field of agriculture.

Schlosser, a dual-degree DVM and PhD student, has career aspirations in population medicine. Her passion for poultry production and commitment to global food security drive her current academic pursuits, and she is deeply committed to advancing the sustainability and security of global food systems.

While at CVM, Schlosser has participated in the Veterinary Summer Scholars research program and is a junior delegate for the CVM Student American Veterinary Medical Association.
